ஒத்தார்மிக் காரை இலையாய மாமாய,
ஒத்தாயெப் பொருட்கு முயிராய்என் னைப்பெற்ற
அத்தாயாய்த் தந்தையா யறியாதன வறிவித்து,
அத்தாநீ செய்தன அடியே னறியேனே.

ஒத்தார் மிக்காரை இலையாய மாமாயா!
ஒத்தாய் எம்பொருட்கும், உயிராய், என்னைப்பெற்ற
அத்தாயாய்த் தந்தையாய் அறியாதன அறிவித்து,
அத்தா! நீ செய்தன அடியேன் அறியேனே.

ஒத்தவர்களும் உயர்ந்தவர்களும் இல்லாத (None to compare nor excel) மிகப்பெரிய ஆச்சரியமான குணங்களையும் செயல்களையும் உடையவனே (மாமாயா - Oh Great charmer!)! ஆனாலும் இவ்வுலகிலுள்ள எல்லா பொருள்கட்குள் அவற்றை தாங்குபவனாக தக்க நிலைகளை உடையவனாகி வந்து அவதரித்தவனே! (Blends with one and all like the inner spirit) சுவாமியே (அத்தா)! என்னுடைய உயிராகி, என்னைப் பெற்ற அந்தத் தாயாகித் தந்தையுமாகி (like a mother or a father), அறியாதனவற்றை எல்லாம் அறியச் செய்து (taught the unbeknownst) நீ செய்த கணக்கிலடங்காத காரியங்களை (Largesse thou gave) அடியேன் அறியேன் (are countless to recall).

otthArmik kArai ilayAya mAmAyA
otthAyep porutk muyirAyen naippetra
atthAyAyth thanthaiyA vaRivitthu
atthAnI seythana adiyE naRiyEnE.

Translation:

None to compare nor excel - Oh Great Charmer!!
Like the inner spirit - blends with one and all!
Largesse thou gave -  like a mother or a father -
Unbenownst thou taught - are countless to recall.
