'வஞ்சனே!' என்னும் கைதொழும்,தன்
நெஞ்சம்வே வநெடி துயிர்க்கும்,விறல்
கஞ்சனை வஞ்சனை செய்தீர்,உம்மைத்
தஞ்சமென் றிவள்பட் டனவே.

'You cheat!' thus admonishing though, she prays.
Heart throbbing she sighs, her soul in dismay
'You debunked that Kamsan' she reminds to say.
Oh enough! in total surrender at you she lays.

எனக்குத் தெரியாமலே என்னை அடிமைப்படுத்திக் கொண்டவனே ! என்கிறாள்; (அந்த நன்றிக்குத் தோற்றுக்) கைகூப்புகின்றாள் தனது நெஞ்சு வேகும்படியாக பெருமூச்செறிகின்றாள்; மிடுக்கனான கம்ஸனை கொன்றொழித்த பெருமானே! உம்மை புகலாகப்பற்றி இவள் பட்டபாடு என்னே!
